Union and common transit
External transit T1 is mainly used for non-Union goods, while T2 preserves Union status in the situations provided by customs rules. The Common Transit Convention provides a shared system between the European Union and participating countries, including Türkiye.

Important: The goods must be presented intact at destination, within the prescribed time and along the required route, together with the transit documents.
